I want to be a great travel blogger Five houses in five different countries. Everyone has goals. Whether they involve career, relationships, or self-actualization, goals are important to the developement of an individual.
When we are children we always want to become as our personal legends. However, Our age and time causes us to forget our personal legends or Idols.
Way back on my solo trip to Churdhar, back in last year. I met a shepherd who lives in remote areas of mountains where people have no unique goals for themselves; their only purpose is to survive. By not comparing the life of a shepherd living in a hamlet to a guy from the metro city. He was lot more stronger in physical than me as for completing a trek of 4kms to reach a destination he was way more faster than me!He was fucking very fast. What i realised that he was satisfied with his job unlike me!
It’s wisely said that “A satisfied life is always way better than a successful one”.
Even in most novels, movies and stories, the main character goes through a journey. So, Netflix gave me some good information here! As i was watching “Narcos” on netflix(not a paid promotion) which is about the life of a colombian drug lord: Pablo Escobar. His life was not less than the life of a president of a country, seriously! It is one of the best series on Netflix. Even america tried so hard to catch and dethrone him. And I am not making him as my idol here(No plans of drug trafficking yet!), But throughout his life there was something to learn that even after doing so many shits to other people, and fucking the case up of many Colombians and other fellows, He was loyal to his family until his last breath. Pablo was also a human but what makes it different is the upbringing and environment of living. All depends on your lifestyle and your present is going to be responsible and will complete your future.
In movies as well, If hero doesn’t overcome the challenges in his life, he will die, either physically or mentally.
Journeys are the foundations of our lives, Just like every other thing on this planet has a beginning and an end, journeys also constitute all things in between. Journey is not our life, but it is a part of our lives.
Even physical journeys involve a definite movement and provides challenges for a traveller to extend himself physically and intellectually. You can relate your trekking experiences, where you get fed up or tired to give up on everything by not completing the journey but always remember my friend, brain always play an important role. If your mind says to do it, you will complete it anyhow even if you take one day extra to do the same job. For a trekker, all it matters is to complete your journey no matter how much time or how many days you took, if you did complete the journey that means you never give up.
